I get the feeling you'd enjoy Brom's The Child Thief - as might the author of that piece :) lovely and nasty, very much in this vein.

Ursula's awesome - she was our intended guest for our Swancon bid, and indeed, replied with a HELL YES!!!! when I asked her if she wanted to be GoH :) But alas, it was not to be.

She's got a great, crazy imagination, that lady. Didn't know it went to such dark places, though. I just follow her images from Deviantart, where I traced the origin of the Lolwut image, aka the Biting Pear of Salamanca.

See her take on Red Riding Hood as well - writing tag on her blog should take her there. I believe it's called 'Turtle'

Yowsers, is all I can say.

and of course there's her House of Red Fireflies stories, and The Littlest Monster, and, of course, Digger. Ed's stories in Digger will make you fall down and weep.
