Suna - Ecologically Aware

Suna is not just responsible for destruction, even if the amounts of destruction she IS responsible for are somewhat gigantic.

Suna is, after all, one of the busiest and most skilled Artificers on the server, spending considerable amounts of server-time designing and fabricating diverse magical weapons and artefacts. She even has a profitable side-line in clothes design, such as the Exploding Pantaloons, that I've mentioned before, or the G-String of +10 Armour she made for one of the GM Succubi. Cursed Pyjamas Of Sleeping are also amusing.

She's also quite interested in protecting endangered species. Unfortunately for the rest of the server, most of those endangered species are man-eating swamp monsters, and the like.

That server is divided into dozens of islands, usually connected by bridges or walkways, and the deadliest island for an adventuring party, is, unsurprisingly, hers. She picked it because camera geometry allows her to see anybody coming up her hill, but they can't see her. She's considering putting a memorial gazebo up there, in case she ever decides to move. The rest of the island is swarming with monsters, experiments, factory-farmed mimics, and traps of assorted horrible inventiveness. Which makes it all the more amusing that a noob saw the handy information sign on the other end of the bridge

and went "ooh, a Quest!"

He shouted for advice after he hit the first few traps. When the other PCs found out where he was, the advice was "RUN! RUN! Run before she sees you!"

She pays quite close attention to adventuring parties that do try and sneak onto her island, of course. Sometimes they're after her, sometimes they're after XP for killing monsters, but either way Suna finds their efforts amusing. One group she watched from a distance, and kept hitting them with individual light spells. They even asked each other who kept casting magic. She waited till the nice glowing targets were grouped close together and meteor stormed the copse.

They complained of course - along the lines that they were hunting monsters, and Suna shouldn't be on the monster's side.

Suna's response was quite enlightened.

"Made to be slaughtered? How unspeakably cruel! Here they dwell, unique and ancient species, only to be hunted by the likes of you, exotic intruders come to hound them out of their native habitat and driven to extinction. Of course I'm going to protect them."

They howled "But you're human yourself! You're just as an exotic intruder as we are!

To which she replied, smugly "But do you see ME attacking them?"

It's always disturbing when a mass-murdering madwoman who just blew up your party is, arguably, in the right.

Indeed! "Monsters" is a human term- just because their needs are contra-indicative to a human players doesn't give them any less right to exist. You don't like it? Stay out of the swamps and stay out of the food chain!!

This is why I could never bring myself to kill the T-Rex, Snow Leopards and such in the TOMB RAIDER games or the Alligators in the first SHADOWMAN... I usually just ran for it, or knocked them out of the way and *then* ran for it...

Where is this game's addy anyhoo? And how should I approach Suna as an admirer and fellow evil-doer who does not want to end up with his eyes on his arse and his head in a tree?!!
